DSS rescues remaining kidnapped Kaura Namoda Federal Polytechnic students

The Department of State Services (DSS) has rescued the four remaining students of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, abducted by bandits in Zamfara State.

A statement by the Service says the students regained their freedom during a coordinated intelligence-led operation carried out without the payment of ransom. One suspected kidnapper has been arrested while others were neutralised.

The students are among six abducted from their off-campus hostel in Kaura Namoda on June 3. Two regained freedoms earlier while sustained security operations have secured the safe rescue of the remaining four.

The latest breakthrough comes days after the DSS rescued a professor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, reinforcing the agency’s sustained offensive against kidnapping and its commitment to protecting lives and improving public safety.
