The Federal Government of Nigeria has filed a fresh charge against a prominent legal practitioner, Mike Ozekhome, SAN, and Ponfa Useini before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja.
In the fresh charge, Mike Ozekhome, SAN, and Ponfa Useini are facing a 12-count charge bordering on forgery.
The legal practitioner is alleged to have, in 2020, conspired with the co-defendant to procure a false Nigerian international passport and purportedly presented it as having been issued by the Nigeria Immigration Service.
The case is yet to be assigned to a judicial officer for adjudication.
