Borno reintegrates repentant insurgents into home communities
Seven hundred and twenty men, including nine hundred and ninety-two spouses and over two thousand children hitherto associated with Boko Haram insurgents and other armed conflict groups, have been reintegrated into society.
The reintegration programme, held in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, falls under the Batch Nine category of low-risk and minor clients. The exercise marks another phase in the ongoing reintegration process for individuals and families affected by insurgency and armed conflict in the region.
