Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the extension of the curfew imposed on 10 local government areas bordering the Old Oyo National Park by 24 hours.
Recall that the Oyo State Government had announced the 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. curfew in the 10 local government areas on June 23, 2026.
In a memo issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, the curfew, which was initially scheduled to last for 48 hours, will now continue until Saturday, June 27, 2026.
