Federal Government of Nigeria has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and the widespread destruction in Caracas caused by the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela.
In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Federal Government commended the efforts of rescue workers and medical personnel, who continue to work tirelessly to save lives and deliver humanitarian assistance to affected communities.
The Nigerian government also extended its condolences to the bereaved families and offered prayers for the speedy and full recovery of the injured.
Nigeria remains confident that the resilient people of Venezuela will overcome this tragedy through unity, determination, and the support of the international community.
