Benue State is likely to witness a significant reduction in post-harvest fruit losses following the inauguration of the BenSono Fruit Processing Industry Concentrate Plant.
The facility is expected to create a sustainable value chain for citrus production, boost local agro-processing, support farmers, and strengthen the state's agricultural economy.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, performed the inauguration ceremony in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
